Golden hour in Toulouse

Recently, I had been to Toulouse and had an amazing week of eating awesome food prepared by my friends. Toulouse, being one of the biggest cities in France didn’t appeal much to me just like other cities as I’m least interested in cities nowadays. But Toulouse being hub of aerospace hub, also attracts me. This mixed feeling for Toulouse shifted a little towards positive after I explored some of the close to nature side of the city. In my recent visit, I stayed closely to this amazing canal of the city which dances with golden hour light everyday and I enjoyed walking by the canal when ever I get the chance. One day we also hiked to a nearby hill in the outskirts of city to have an amazing view of sunset. Following are the few pictures from my short stay at Toulouse taken from my mobile in the golden hour of the day.

Euro trip – Roma, Italy (Day 1)

IMG_9716

Long long ago I had been to Rome, the capital of Italy and I explored Rome also called as Roma to my fullest extent. Since then I was trying to share the memories I had with Rome, ancient city from Roman times. It was fascinating to see some of the old roman structures standing to this date surviving many wars, weathers. Considering myself as learner and fan of history I was happy to be in this ancient city and witness the following architecture and monuments of ancient Rome.

Thanks to Roma pass, my friends and I had pretty easy access to visit these amazing places in our three day stay at Roma. On the first day we tried to explore as many places as possible and the result is here.

Eurotrip – Florence, Italy

2

Florence, also called as Firenze is one of main cities of Italy and home to some of amazing art works of renaissance period, is also my favorite city in Italy. Florence was second stop during our trip to Italy after Pisa. From Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David to panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo along with Italian cuisines, everything was perfect and I enjoyed every moment I stayed in Florence.

We reached Florence in the evening and by the time settled in our rooms it was already dark. We thought of exploring the city and its night life. We started our journey visiting Galleria dell’Accademia where we came across famous Michelangelo’s masterpiece David and many other art works. Being someone who is fan of history, I heard about David and saw his picture for the first time in history book during my school time. And the moment I stood next to the actual sculpture, it made me realize how far I have come in time and space. The look on David’s face and his famous warning glare which said “you talking to me?” and veins on his right were some of the amazing details of the sculpture that caught my attention. Further exploration of the galleria led me to some other amazing art works and my favorites are here.

Later that evening we had dinner in a restaurant whose name I forgot but not the taste of pasta and lasagna. Then we got the opportunity of enjoying the chocolate syrup and waffles en route to our hostel rooms during last hours on the last day of the stalls. Then, met our friends from Toulouse at Ponte Vecchio.

Next morning with a city map in our hands provided by our hostel receptionist, we went to Piazzale Michelangelo. There we met our friends from Toulouse.

Then we all went to visit Giordino Bardini, Palazzo Pitti, another house of many roman arts and culture where we spent most of the day.

Later we headed towards cathedral by which it was dark already but still had lot of time to spend. Enjoyed the street music, some more foods and finally left Florence with awesome dinner at Salaam Bombay and the beauty of renaissance arts.

Eurotrip – Pisa, Italy

Last exam of the year finished just days ago, and finally it’s holidays. This time I have no plans of going on trips instead I am thinking of completing certain some things. First and foremost, to complete Naruto series which by now is done(almost). Then to read couple of books, watch movies and some more TV shows and if possible learn a programming software. And so, I have started this Christmas holidays.

I don’t know where I came across, once I read a new year resolution which said to travel to a place to which you have never been. I liked this thought and I made this as my new resolution too, some years ago. And I have been cherishing up this resolution by traveling to new places. The year 2016 was adventurous as I traveled to some really amazing places whose list started from Pisa of Italy. Here are some pics from my trip to Pisa.

No trip(considering if you are into taking pics) to Pisa is complete without people trying to lean against leaning tower or trying it to save from further leaning. Here is the pic, my friends trying to prevent the tower from leaning!

Smile

Featured

Witnessing a smile from someone you love the most is one of the most beautiful things. That pretty smile will make one forget the worries they have. A child’s smile will make his/her mother’s moment bright, just like a man’s smile widens when his family smiles.

Smile is a powerful tool to make people happy and sometimes to connect people. A girl’s smile towards a guy who likes her could be the beginning of a beautiful relation. A deal between businessmen could be made with just one whole hearted smile. In France, whenever I go to college or take small walks around my habitat, a smile from a stranger and the greeting ‘bonjour’, makes my moment bright. A smile or a good feeling in the early morning will make me feel positive throughout the day.

Sometimes, the smile in others as a result of my actions makes me happier. Knowing that I’m the reason for someone’s smile, is the best compliment I could ever get. Few people have already given me this compliment and I am in pursuit for more. One of my friends even told me that sometimes if he sees me, smile comes automatically to him (this could be perceived in another way, as I try to crack jokes, or sometimes my actions are so weird in a good way that it makes people smile. Until there is a smile on others’ face I don’t mind continuing this).

I want everyone to smile, have positive thoughts, and the people around them would end up doing the same. I know it’s impossible to see the world itself smiling, with happy people in it. It could only be possible in a dream and I assume everyone knows why.

Anyway, if you ever think you want a reason just to smile (although I wish there will be a reason of your own, but just in case if you miss it), meet Ganya, my little neighboring dude who just completed a year of entering to this world. When I had been to India during summer vacations, I met this cute little dude who lives just above our house. She became my friend very quickly than most of the little dudes of her age. And then started a little journey of playing (literally) together. Myself being a guy who doesn’t like to take selfies was eager to take a selfie whenever she stays still and I had a phone in my hand. I often took pictures of her using phone. They were all just candid pictures. Once, I took my camera out to take some more photos, and in front of me was this little dude in her walker with one of the most mesmerizing smile I have seen. As I started taking pictures, her smile became wider. It is one of happiest smiles I have ever seen. The smile is simply pure and innocent in its nature. I consider the above picture which has this awesome smile, as one of the best pictures I’ve ever made.

img_2893I hope the smile from my little dude puts a smile on you too. Keep smiling and have a good day!
